Kevin Blanchet

Coach Kevin Blanchet has been a part of Boys2Men since 2017. He’s seen both ends of the stick, first as a player, then as a coach. Coach Kevin attended SUNY Brockport, majoring in Kinesiology and minoring in coaching. Coach Kevin has a cooperative coaching style approach. He coaches because he wants to teach student-athletes life-long skills/lessons through the game of basketball the same way that his former coaches did for him. Coach Kevin has high expectations for his players and holds them accountable on and off the court. He emphasizes effort, defense, leadership, and intensity. Although coach Kevin is a student of the game, most describe him as a sponge because he’s open-minded and always finds new ways to become a better coach. Coach Kevin is also the CEO of a basketball training business with Coach Kareem O’Brien since 2021, where they’ve successfully trained a variety of skill levels from K-College. Coach Kevin’s motto is,” Leave players better than when you found them.”
